Toward More Prosperous Jakarta

Jakarta Today reveal freedom and fairness. The final round of gubernatorial election is happening. Jokowi – Ahok is competing with the incumbent candidate Fauzi Bowo – Nara. Two candidates is strictly competing to grab Jakarta voter for Jakarta 1. Each candidates has own excellence to vote : Fauzi is technocrat with widespread networking, while Jokowi is previously popular in Solo as a successful major. He is well-known as an out of box leader with many visions.

Whoever the governor will be elected, we’re very supportive as long as they are pro-citizens and willing to build Jakarta is more prosperous.

I am currently writing my blog in the middle of my hectic-working days. Of course, this is a challenge. As a civil worker, I have a regular work hours, start from 7.30 am to 5.00 pm every Monday to Friday. Sometimes, I have an outside job desk that requires high mobility. I am consistently writing social issues, daily activities, and other interesting news maker, around me and surrounding me.

I have a passion, by blogging I can go around the world with many hopes. I previously read famous blogs, and most of them achieved their dream by blogging and blogging. They are advantaged by  sponsorship to join an annual meeting for journalist, blogger and social activist. Sponsorship select a blogger which suit to their mission and vision. And then, they’ll be invited for journey and long-road trip. Of course, this is awesome journey both of domestic or overseas.

Blogging also encourage me to record ‘highlight’ activities which happened in my life. Beyond, it will  being a little note which could inspire everybody whoever read my blog. Shortly, my blog is my idealism. It works by heart after seeing, listening and finally decide to write. I am writing by spontaneity, not pretend. 

And lastly, by blogging I can earn some money. It seems a trivial, of course. But someday I intend to create this passion by blogging.  I experienced by selling some product when I was a student and this will be fun, because I love how to satisfy people by selling a product. And what kind of product will you sell? The answer is idea. By selling ideas, it diverse many unlimited products, such as goods and services :)

Say No To "Lady Gaga n Friends"

Why does Lady Gaga Concert rejected in some countries in Asia, include Indonesia? In my opinion, Lady Gaga concert was more than a merely entertainment, but also contained certain values such as hedonism and sexual exposure as contained in her lyrics, clothes, and performance. Everybody knows, Lady Gaga is reputed bringing freakish ideology through satanic admirer. And, Lady Gaga also ever made controversial by wearing a 100% real meat dress. Gaga is symbol and famous to pornography and other about pornography. Oh, gosh!

Despite all that, not only Lady Gaga’s concert rejection cause of pornography reason but also whatever made moral destruction, should be refused. Say no to “Lady Gaga & Friends and Stop Porn Culture”

Tugu Tani Tragedy in My Opinion

This week, most of headline newspaper in Jakarta present about terrible accident was happened on Sunday (22/1) and hits pedestrians, 9 victims died. Afriyani Susanti, the driver now arrested by the police and according to the police, she was under influence of drugs.  According to the news, she did not have a driving license, couldn't show any legal car documents, and was driving at a high speed, 100 kms/hour, right in the center of Jakarta.

This accident makes me very sad and angry, as it is such a stupid, senseless waste of precious human lives! My deepest sympathy and most sincere condolences go to the bereaved families and friends of the deceased.

The big question is : Is it right that Afriyani was driving under influence of drugs? Why did Afriyani did not permitted to interview to clarify all of this? Why did the police refused to release any further information regarding the driver’s identity? There were a lot questions to unveil the real story...
